The Henry Ford College Full Circle Dance Company will present its winter concert at 8 p.m. Dec. 8 and 9 in the Mackenzie Fine Arts Center (Bldg. F) on the main campus.The concert, which occurs in the fall and winter semesters, features HFC dancers, as well as guest choreographers and guest performers from East English Village High School in Detroit. They will be performing a variety of dance routines: contemporary, tap, hip hop, the shim sham (a popular dance from the 1920s), the heels dance, and more.“The heels dance is a new form of dance that’s very trendy,” said Amy Guilmette, Full Circle Dance Company artistic director. “With the heels dance, the performers show off their current jazz, street, funk, and hip hop moves in high heels. Our student choreographer Mariah Tankersley has come up with an amazing heels piece that you have to see to believe.”
