Goldfish Swim School co-founder, Chris McCuiston, named Ernst & Young Entreprenuer of the Year 2014 finalist

Goldfish Swim School Cofounder Chris McCuiston has been named a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® 2014 Award in Michigan & Northwest Ohio. The nomination comes in recognition of McCuiston’s ability to demonstrate extraordinary success in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to Goldfish and the thousands of children the company has taught to swim over the past six years. Award recipients will be named at a black-tie gala on Thursday, June 5 at the MGM Grand in Detroit.

McCuiston and his wife and co-founder, Jenny, opened the first Goldfish Swim School in Birmingham, Michigan in 2006. The company quickly gained popularity by offering a unique, innovative curriculum that provides extraordinary swim lessons in a child-friendly environment. In the last six years, Goldfish Swim School opened nine franchise locations throughout metro Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Grand Rapids and Indianapolis.
