Macomb Township boy sells lemonade to raise money for toys for kids with cancer

A 4-year-old little boy named Conner lost a friend to cancer. Her name was Ella.

She was only 3-years-old when she passed. To honor her Connor decided to run a lemonade stand to raise money to buy toys to take to kids fighting cancer.

“I thought we might raise about $200,” said Diana Nicol.

Instead they raised thousands.

When Macomb Township Firefighters heard about the lemonade stand they decided to honor Connor for his hard work.

They pulled up to the lemonade stand with sirens blaring. They named Connor “Fire Chief” for a day and pulled cash out of their pockets.
