Michigan’s Tree Army

During the 1930s, more than 100,000 young men in Michigan participated in the Civilian Conservation Corps, a federal education and work program. Get a glimpse into the daily lives of the “CCC boys” – although their work building bridges, fighting fires and planting trees was hard, many later called it the best years of their lives.
