Ray Township was established in 1827. At that time, the boundaries included what is now Armada Township. In 1832 the boundaries were enlarged to include Lenox, Macomb and Richmond Townships. But later Ray Township was reduced to its present size of 36 square miles with boundaries as follows-32 Mile as the northern boundary, 26 Mile as its southern boundary, it

LookUpDetroit.com is offered to the Metro Detroit community as a gift, given out of a motivation to serve others. Here, with the help of the wider community you will find uplifting resources, web links, articles, listings, artists and events. This is a neighbor to neighbor, family friendly resource where the concentration is on many of the wonderful aspects in our Detroit Region. Here, you'll find people, places, nonprofit activities both metro wide and also in your own smaller community. Look at the many interests covered and think of contributing something through writing, photographs or videos.  Together, we can make this a very helpful web address for your neighbors and you to regularly return to.  This is an invitation to do something significant together, to better communicate with and connect our many diverse Metro Detroit communities.
