The first regularly scheduled tours of Detroit’s old Packard Plant will start next weekend, offering chances to explore one of the world’s great industrial ruins without risking a trespassing violation.The $40 guided tours are scheduled to set off at noon and again at 3 p.m. every Saturday beginning Aug. 12. The tours will continue each weekend until the weather gets too cold, then start again in the spring.
