WINTER FARMERS’ MARKET COMING TO DOWNTOWN ROCHESTER

Starting on Saturday, November 5, the Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market would like to welcome the community to shop at their brand new Winter Farmers’ Market!

There is no need to bundle up for shopping at this market, as it is conveniently taking place indoors at the Rochester Fire Department. The Fire Department is located at 277 Second Street, directly across the street from the regular farmers’ market lot.
“Throughout the summer, we had lots of inquiries from customers about the possibility of Rochester having a winter or year-round market,” said Kelly McMahon, Market Manager of the Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market. “We are very focused on serving the community, so we are thrilled that we could make this happen for everyone.”

The market will be taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays November through January, with the exception of Christmas Eve (December 24,) New Year’s Eve (December 31,) and Fire & Ice Festival (January 21.)

The Winter Farmers’ Market will feature a large variety of fresh produce and specialty foods, including gourmet coffee, hummus, gnocchi, jams and jellies, honey, dressings, sauces, and much more.

Stay up-to-date on which vendors will be at the market, special events taking place and more by following the Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market Facebook page at facebook.com/DowntownRochesterFarmersMarket.
