September Filled With Advanced Battery Technology Events In Metro Detroit – MITechNews

I hope you are all enjoying this last bit of summer before we head into the busy fall season! NextEnergy has been preparing to participate in some exciting events next month and we look forward to seeing many of you there.

On September 11-13, The Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi will welcome back The Battery Show, a premier industry event featuring 8,000 engineers and executives, and more than 600 leading suppliers across the advanced battery supply chain. This is an excellent opportunity in our own metro area to see and learn about what’s happening in the industry, brush up on technical knowledge and make valuable connections. If you plan to attend the conference sessions, register using our promo code NE to receive a discount on your purchase.

That same week, September 10-13, NextEnergy is honored to host the First North American CharIN Interoperability Event here in Detroit. CharIN’s primary objective is to establish the Combined Charging System (CCS) as the global standard for AC and DC charging and to enable multivendor interoperability worldwide. Event attendees will have the opportunity to participate in workshops with industry thought leaders and connect with teams from both EV and EVSE manufacturers at a live testing symposium on our campus. On September 13, CharIN will also host a task force meeting on high power charging for commercial vehicles that is open to both members and non-members. If you are involved in the EV or EVSE supply or value chains, we encourage you to apply to attend to stay at the forefront of the standards that will shape the future of the industry. More information and links to register can be found here.
