Many important local stories are not covered by our Detroit media, often being overlooked in favor of sensational or national news. In response, we have removed the go-betweens and are putting a local media platform in the hands of great neighbors and local organizations.
LookUpDetroit.com invites you to publish your items on our site. We are a nonprofit, online local news source — a shared media platform for you to post and pass on helpful, positive local stories and events for our metro neighbors.
Additionally, we have installed powerful tools that distribute each story automatically to search engines, Facebook, Twitter, and other networks.
No charge! Our mission is to help build much-needed bridges between metro Detroit’s urban and suburban communities and to serve as a helpful local media source throughout Metro Detroit.
