NEW! Homeschool Nature Programs for Ages 12 to 16 at the Farmington Hills Nature Center

Enrich your child’s knowledge and connection with the natural world with
Homeschool Nature Programs at the Farmington Hills Nature Center. A
naturalist will lead field study experiences outdoors, investigating different
nature and STEM-based topics each week. It’s a great way to get outside, meet
other homeschool families, and supplement your at-home lessons.

Homeschool Nature Programs will meet every Wednesday from September 18
through November 20 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Nature Center. The program
is designed as a drop-off class, so parents who decide to stay are encouraged to
network and socialize with other homeschool families in the Nature Center.
The class is available for children ages 12 to 16. Please dress for the weather
and exploring outdoors.

The fee is $50 per child for the entire 10-week session. Pre-registration is
required. Register online at https://recreg.fhgov.com or in person at the
Costick Center located at 28600 Eleven Mile Road in Farmington Hills.

The Farmington Hills Nature Center in Heritage Park is located at 24915
Farmington Road, between 10 and 11 Mile Roads. Call the Nature Center at
248-477-1135 or email asmith@fhgov.com for more information about other
upcoming Nature Center programs.
