All-American Rejects, Four Tops to headline Arts, Beats and Eats in Royal Oak

Royal Oak will be rocking and rolling with nearly 200 musical acts for Arts, Beats and Eats this Labor Day weekend, in addition to 130 artists and food from 40 restaurants.

The All-American Rejects, Theory of a Deadman, Third Eye Blind and the Four Tops will headline the 22nd annual event Aug. 30-Sept. 2, according to a news release. They will join 20 new acts this year ranging from country and blues to rock and roll tribute bands.

A half-dozen new artists this year will bring a mix of metalwork, fiber techniques and sculpting. Artwork to be on display includes ceramics, drawing, leather, fiber, graphics, painting and photography.

The festival, sponsored by the Soaring Eagle casino in Mount Pleasant, will feature new local food offerings that include Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse, Prime 29 Steakhouse, Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse and Crispelli’s. The Bavarian Inn and Little Bros Burgers will roll out food trucks new to the event as well.
