Comerica Park to reopen with 20 per cent capacity

It may be a little longer for their Canadian fans, but a limited number of Detroit Tigers fans will soon be able to see their team play in-person again.

After Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced Friday that outdoor stadiums across the state can reopen at 20 per cent capacity, the Detroit Tigers announced that Comerica Park will welcome back fans in time for its home opener on April 1, 2021.

The ballpark, which has been home to the club since 2000, will begin selling tickets for 8,200 people per game for now.
