Detroit Tigers set for full capacity at Comerica Park on June 8

Comerica Park will return to full capacity June 8, a Tuesday, when the Detroit Tigers host the Seattle Mariners for the start of a six-game homestand, the club told the Free Press.

On Thursday, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced all outdoor capacity restrictions within the state will be lifted June 1. Face mask requirements for fully vaccinated people at Comerica Park were dropped May 15, in accordance with guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Throughout April and May, the Tigers have been allowed to host a maximum 8,000 fans — just less than 20% capacity. Comerica Park seats 41,083 spectators at full capacity. Single-game tickets for games in June are on sale to the general public.

Individual game tickets for July through the end of the regular season are not yet on sale, but the Tigers plan to provide further information soon.
