Kid-Friendly Fall Festivals In Metro Detroit

Bundle up and get ready for fall fun! From hayrides and apple cider to circus acts and carnival rides, there are lots of festivals and fairs heading to metro Detroit.

Saline Community Fair (Saline)

August 31st – September 4th

The Saline Fair features carnival rides, animal acts, live entertainment and more.

Michigan State Fair (Novi)

September 1st – 5th

The Detroit Shrine Circus returns with an expanded show and three tents. Fairgoers will also enjoy an expanded midway, agricultural and livestock exhibits, live entertainment and all those favorite tasty carnival treats!

Arts, Beats & Eats (Royal Oak)

September 2nd – 5th

Explore the fine art festival, sample food from local restaurants, listen to a variety of performers on one of 9 stages and have fun in the family zone. The Detroit News Kids Zone will host a variety of interactive, educational and fun performances throughout the weekend, crafting stations, inflatable bounce houses and kiddie carnival rides.
