Metro Detroit foundations team up for $1 million endowment for Detroit Youth Choir after 2nd place America’s Got Talent finish

The Detroit Youth Choir may not have won America’s Got Talent, but they are getting their own $1 million prize.

The Skillman Foundation tweeted that they, along with a number of other Detroit foundations, are setting up an endowment for the choir.

The Detroit Youth Choir finished second in the America’s Got Talent competition, which finished it’s season Wednesday. They were welcomed home to Detroit Friday with a special ceremony downtown.
