Registration is underway for free winter sports programs for youth, offered by Oakland County’s Sheriff PAL.
Sheriff PAL offers year-round programming for at-risk youth in Oakland County.This year’s winter lineup includes Basketball Academy, robot camp, karate, cheer/dance/tumbling, indoor soccer and t-ball/baseball/softball, all held in Pontiac.
Registration ends Jan. 17 for the first session of Basketball Academy. Registration for the second session of Basketball Academy runs Feb. 10 through Feb. 28. Registration for the other programs ends Jan. 24.
Program start dates also vary. Registration should be done as soon as possible through the Sheriff PAL website, https://www.sheriffpal.com/. Registration requires a PAL account.
