Salvation Army to begin accepting donations again on Monday morning

Salvation Army stores in metro Detroit will begin accepting donations on Monday morning.

Donations of gently-used clothing, linens, household appliances, furniture, toys, shoes and more will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. All donations will be quarantined for 72 hours.

Residential pickup service is still on pause but will resume at a later date.

Donation centers will continue to be contactless and people must remain in their vehicle while employees wearing PPE will retrieve donations from the truck. They are asking people to clearly label donations.
