Troy Metro Symphony Orchestra Spring Concert in Sterling Heights

The Troy Metro Symphony Orchestra invites you to embark on a musical adventure around the globe! We will begin in the English countryside with British folk songs (Vaughan-Williams) and travel to America for toe-tapping military music (Sousa). There will be Bohemian folk dances in the Czech Republic, and we will visit the Hebrides Islands off the west coast of Scotland to hear the sea as it crashes against the rocky shore (Mendelssohn). Next, we will travel to Spain for a parade at a town festival (Turina), and we will end the evening with one man’s reverent reflection of a shipwreck off the coast of Wales (Holsinger). We hope you’ll add this incredible concert to your calendar, and we look forward to seeing you there. Admission is free. However, donations are gratefully received. Children are always welcome!
