MORTON’S THE STEAKHOUSE AND KEVIN BUCKLER OF ADOBE ROAD WINERY HOST FOUR-COURSE WINE DINNER

Dinner To Feature a Perfect Pairing of Award-Winning Wines and Signature Cuisine

Morton’s The Steakhouse and Adobe Road Winery have teamed up to host exciting wine dinners across the country.  Area wine connoisseurs and budding wine enthusiasts alike are invited for a fabulous four-course meal perfectly paired with high-end, handcrafted, small lot wines from Adobe Road.

The Detroit dinner, slated for Thursday, May 31, will feature special host Kevin Buckler, owner of Adobe Road Winery.  Buckler, a former professional race car driver and founder of one of the top teams in professional sports car racing, TRG (The Racers Group), has been highly instrumental in orchestrating the Morton’s wine dinners around significant races throughout the U.S.

In 1998, Buckler followed his passion for wine and founded Adobe Road Winery with his wife Debra. This hot, boutique winery located in southern Sonoma County produces award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Petite Sirah, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Zinfandel and Dessert Wines exclusively from Sonoma and Napa County sources.  It recently received four 92-plus scores for four of its new releases – two cabernets, a syrah and a chardonnay.

The winery and race team owner has been a steadfast Morton’s advocate ever since his first great wine dinner experience last fall.

“Morton’s The Steakhouse is one of the iconic steak dining experiences in the world,” said Buckler.  “We did an event at Morton’s in Baltimore last year during the Baltimore Grand Prix and simply rocked it!  So we contacted Morton’s to see if we could extend that experience to other markets.  The relationship has been a great one for both parties.  We come eager to share stories … and our fabulous wines.”
